DOE Headquarters and Regional Offices

On July 1, 2006, the six regional offices under the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) were realigned and consolidated into two existing organizations:

The Golden Field Office (GO) in Golden, CO and the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) in Morgantown, WV and Pittsburgh, PA.
