Weatherization Day 2007 Activities
Cheyenne, WY--On September 29, 2007, Wyoming Energy Council (WEC) teamed up with Cheyenne Light, Fuel & Power (CLFP), several retail home improvement centers, Wyoming Public Service Commission (WPSC), Wyoming Office of Consumer Advocate (OCA), and the Wyoming Business Council (WBC) for the second annual Energy Efficiency Awareness Day in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
WEC assists as part of its Weatherization Day activities to offer consumers an opportunity to learn more about ways to conserve their energy usage while reducing their energy bills. The first 100 visitors to the EEAD table at Lowes, Wal-Mart, and Home Depot, received a FREE ENERGY STAR® compact fluorescent light bulb, courtesy of CLFP.
Weatherization Day 2006 Activities
On October 7, Cheyenne held its first Energy Conservation Awareness Day at several major home improvement stores across the city. These events promoted the use of compact fluorescent bulbs and other weatherization measures and brought increased awareness to the Weatherization Assistance Program through state and local media.
