Weatherization Day 2006 Activities

On Wednesday, November 1, the Auburn Human Rights Commission (HRC) presented its annual informational forum, which this year empathized the importance of the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP). The session featured Marie Montgomery, Weatherization Director for the Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency (CAA), who explained the purpose and benefits of the Program. Those in attendance were able to engage in discussion on the WAP and key energy issues, while enjoying refreshments provided by the HRC. The event earned press attention, including an article from The Citizen.
