Weatherization Day 2006 Activities

This year, the Weatherization Assistance Program, Nevada Housing Division, and HELP of Southern Nevada, earned increased recognition through an article written by the Los Vegas Review Journal.

Weatherization Day 2005 Activities

On October 30, 2005, The Nevada Department of Business & Industry's Weatherization Program was recognized by the Las Vegas Real Estate News for helping a disabled veteran manage his high heating and electric bills.

Meanwhile, the Nevada Department of Business & Industry Housing arranged a demonstration for the benefit of Governor Kenny Guinn. During this event the Governor was able to visit an elderly woman whose home was being weatherized. This was only one of many actions taken by Nevada's Weatherization Agencies.
