Weatherization Day 2007 Activities

Alaska celebrated the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) by lining up a series of news stories in Anchorage throughout the month of October. Press releases were sent from the Municipality of Anchorage Department of Neighborhoods. This yielded coverage of the WAP by two different television stations.

Weatherization Day 2001 Activities

Alaska's Governor signed a proclamation declaring October 30th as Weatherization Day in support of the national effort to bring attention to this important low-income initiative.
