Weatherization Plus Health provides a series of resources useful to local and state-level agencies for creating partnerships, referral systems, and greater understanding between experts in different fields. The Weatherization Plus Health is a value-added initiative that will deliver the following resources to the public:

• Reports for each U.S. State and territory detailing that state’s Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) and Healthy Homes infrastructure as it currently exists, highlighting its successful partnerships, and identifying pathways to future collaboration among state and local agencies;
• A public website that will map Healthy Homes and Weatherization programs nationwide and include an inventory of healthy homes projects funded by federal agencies;
• Training and technical assistance for providers of Healthy Homes and weatherization services;
• Best practices for creating referral systems between Healthy Homes programs and WAP agencies;
• A quarterly newsletter containing Weatherization Plus Health updates, success stories, and tips for connecting WAP and Healthy Homes; and
• Six regional conferences took place across the country in 2011 that focused on bringing together Healthy Homes and WAP providers, identify gaps between existing partnerships, and encourage new partnerships
